HIV, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, leads to AIDS. Many of those infected with HIV don’t know their status, and may unknowingly transfer the virus to others. The only way to make sure you are not infected with HIV is to get tested.
MMDHD offers both anonymous and confidential HIV testing. An anonymous test does not require any personal identification in order to be tested. A confidential test, while it requires your name, remains confidential. The test is usually conducted using Orasure, an oral swab method that is painless and blood-free. HIV testing is available at any of our three locations for a $30.00 donation, however, those who are unable to donate are not turned away. The donation goes towards the purchase of Orasure tests.
