Everyone that uses alcohol or drugs (including marihuana) that cause impaired driving should designate a sober and unimpaired driver.
Everyone should refuse to ride in a vehicle when the driver has been drinking. Take the ignition keys away from someone that has been drinking or using drugs that cause impaired driving.
All children 11 and 12 years of age should receive three doses of properly spaced Human Papilloma Virus vaccine. Women 13-26 years of age who have not yet received the vaccine should do so. Men 13-21 years of age who have not yet received the vaccine should also do so.
All fresh fruits and vegetables should be thoroughly rinsed under running water. Hard-skinned fruits and vegetables should be scrubbed with a clean brush.
All women are encouraged to have a yearly mammogram starting at age 40. Women in their 20s should start having clinical breast exams until they reach age 40. Women 40 and older should have yearly clinical breast exams.
Everyone over the age of six months without a contraindication should receive a yearly influenza vaccination.
All children engage in a minimum of one hour of physical activity daily; adults 18 years and older should engage in a minimum of 30 minutes of brisk exercise five days a week. Parents are encouraged to participate in physical activity with their children.
