Community Health and Education Division (CHED)
The Community Health and Education Division (CHED) provides a variety of preventive health services to individuals and families in the community. The Division offers the following programs:

Health Education - providing screening, prevention and wellness education, data tracking, and assessment for community planning;
- Maternal and Child Health Programs - giving financial, social, nutritional, and medical support to qualified families so as to reduce infant mortality, ensuring healthy births and maintain infant and child health;
- Chronic Disease Control Programs - focusing on early detection of and referral to specific chronic diseases;
- Communicable Disease Control Programs - offering testing, education, prevention and treatment services to control communicable diseases within the community.
In 2009, the Community Health and Education Division served 39,896 clients in programs throughout the district.
