Public Health Emergency Response Plan

Mid-Michigan District Health Department’s Public Health Emergency Response Plan represents MMDHD’s initial planning efforts to address the agency’s response to various public health and emergency situations. This plan will be used as a guide in the initiation of response activities by our agency. It is not intended to be all inclusive, as circumstances at the time of the incident or disaster may warrant other actions not identified in the plan. It should also be noted that most, if not all, disasters or emergencies will involve a response by multiple partners.

The plan will be reviewed and updated at least annually, and/or as newer information becomes available. It will also be updated to include MMDHD’s response to natural disasters.
