Mid-Michigan District Health Department offers Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J COVID-19 vaccines
Please note: all COVID-19 vaccinations at MMDHD are by appointment only

PFIZER 

  • The Pfizer vaccine is recommended for those 5 years and older.
  • Booster doses of Pfizer have been approved for those 16 years and older.
  • If you got your initial doses of Pfizer at least 6 months ago, you are eligible for a booster dose.

MODERNA 

  • The Moderna vaccine is recommended for those 18 years and older.
  • Booster doses of Moderna have been approved for those 18 year and older.
  • If you got your initial doses of Moderna at least 6 months ago, you are eligible for a booster dose.

J&J 

  • The J&J vaccine is recommended for those 18 years and older.
  • Booster doses of J&J have been approved for those 18 years and older.
  • If you got your initial dose of J&J at least 2 months ago, you are eligible for a booster dose.

Mix and matching

If you are 18 or older you may choose to receive a different vaccine type for your booster. For example, if you received first and second doses of Moderna or Pfizer and would like a J&J booster, you need to wait at least 6 months after your second dose. If you received a first dose of J&J and would like a Pfizer or Moderna, you need to wait at least 2 months after your initial dose.
