Mid-Michigan District Health Department (MMDHD) COVID-19 vaccination clinics 
Please note: all COVID-19 vaccinations at MMDHD are by appointment only

FIRST OR SECOND DOSES
Moderna (18 years of age and older), Johnson & Johnson (18 years of age and older) and Pfizer (12 years of age and older) vaccines are available. You can make a first or second dose appointment by calling one of our branch offices:

  • MMDHD Gratiot County branch office (151 Commerce Drive, Ithaca 48847): call 989-875-3681, option 5. 
  • MMDHD Montcalm County branch office (615 N. State Street, Stanton 48888): call 989-831-5237, option 5. 

ADDITIONAL DOSES
An additional third dose of Moderna or Pfizer is available to those who are moderately or severely immunocompromised. This additional dose can be given 28 days after the second dose in the primary series. Those who qualify for an additional dose can make an appointment by calling one of our branch offices:

BOOSTER DOSES
A single booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine SHOULD be given to the following populations at least 6 months after the second dose in the primary series:

A single booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine MAY be given to the following populations at least 6 months after the second dose in the primary series (make sure to talk with you doctor first to discuss benefits and risks): 

  • Those aged 18-49 years with underlying medical conditions
  • Those aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of their occupation or institutional/residential setting. This group includes adults aged 18-64 years who work or reside in settings such as health care, schools, congregate care facilities, correctional facilities, or homeless shelters. This group also includes front line essential workers such as first responders (firefighters, police, and EMS), food and agricultural workers, manufacturing workers, U.S. Postal Service workers, public transit workers, and grocery store workers.

Please note: Booster doses of J&J and Moderna have not yet been approved. 

 

Additional Pfizer clinics - Note: those 12 to 17 years of age will need to get the Pfizer vaccine.
